My name is Amanda Trap and I am currently a management assistant. I work for Enterprise Holdings or most people know it as Enterprise Rent-a-Car. So, my particular role is kind of to play the middle person between the frontline employees and the management and HR team. So a lot of what I do is like, hands on training in store, and just making sure that, you know, our employees are getting exactly what they need from everybody, even if they don't wanna, you know, reach out to higher management, they have me. So I'm kind of like, that little middle person. So pretty much, like I was explaining, I'm kind of like the middle person. My original intent was to get into HR, but I found that I like to kind of interact on a more like, personal level with the employees. So I get to be in the stores every day, and I go to different stores, and just make sure that you know, in those stores that the employees are getting what they need from their management team, and if they need to be pulled aside for like, extra training, sales training, because that's primarily what the frontline employees do, then I'm that person that does that for them. And also if they have any like, concerns about where they are, then I also am kind of like, a voice for them, to kind of voice that to their upper management teams. So I had an employee that, she had been with us for almost a year, and she was having a little bit of a hard time like, getting qualified, and by qualified I mean having a hard time making her sales, so that she can qualify for another role. And it was a really simple fix. She just needed like, a track of words to say when she's selling things. So I pulled her aside a few days a week, and we worked on like, her wordplay and the track of what she was gonna say, so she can get better at selling. We did that for a few weeks and then I did notice that she started getting better and she ended up makin' or qualifying for the quarter. So that was really good. She was able to get promoted, or throw for getting promoted. We're still waiting to see what she got coming back.
