Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Site:

As a Clinical Therapist Intern, You Will:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients aged 5 and older with mental health disorders and addictions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with medical providers to ensure holistic, integrated care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address client needs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records in compliance with OMH and OASAS standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with doctors, therapists, and case managers to optimize client outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, ensuring clients’ immediate needs are met.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and receive supervision to help you grow as a clinician and prepare for graduation and licensure.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a Master’s program for Mental Health Counseling (MHC) or Social Work (MSW).
- Strong interest in mental health, addictions, and providing therapy to diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with clients aged 5 and older in both individual and group settings.
