Welcome to the __________ Community!
This space is used to add static intro text letting user’s know what they can find in each community. The content in this space should be concise, and is recommended to follow a similar layout/pattern within all of your communities to create continuity.
To edit this space log in to the dashboard and navigate to Manage > Communities. You can search the title of the community in the search box on the top right, or click on the Parent Community (i.e. Career Pathways) to see the sub-communities in that grouping. Hover your mouse over the community you wish to add intro text to, and select ‘Edit’.
Scroll about 2/3 of the way down and click the button to ‘Edit Static Content’. From there you can add a Heading and text to this space. This space uses a Block Editor design tool; if you have not used a Block Editor before it is recommended to take our Block Editor Training Academy which is linked below.
Best Practice: Keep the content in this space simple to try and drive users to explore how the content in each community is organized. A few sentence description of majors aligned with a career community is a great place to start! Avoid adding Job Boards and online tools hyperlinked in this space, as those should be added as individual resources. The goal of your platform is to manage curated content through integrations and resources – once you’ve added text to this space it should not need to be updated on a regular basis.
