Goals & Objectives

Students participating in the RMU Academic Internship Program will be able to:
  1. Apply cognitive and theoretical aspects of professional education in a work environment. Based on the students' educational level and qualifications, the internship may be an introductory, intermediate or advanced experience.

  2. Assess their experiences critically, apply concepts analytically, develop and refine skills, and gain professional confidence.

  3. Demonstrate the basic competencies and skills associated with career development that involves interviewing, networking, and professional ethics. Students will also be able to construct resumes and cover letters as part of the professional job search process.
